Fees & Payment Options
The billing process for dental hygiene services are the same as what you have experienced at your dental professionals office.
Michelle follows the 2009 suggested fee guide published by the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association (ODHA).
The fees for teeth cleaning are base on how much time it takes to clean* your teeth. * recommended
treatment including scaling & polishing. Many factors can affect this, from genetics to how much
time you dedicate to home care. As everyone is different so is the time required to treat you.
Generally the time is broken down into 15 minute units and often it will take between ½ an
hour and 45 minutes for the "average" person.

Payment is due in full at the end of the appointment. A completed insurance form will be provided so there is no need to bring your own. Dental Hygiene services may be tax deductible and an official receipt will be provided.
Currently, Insurance companies accepting claims include: Manulife, Great West Life, Sunlife, Blue Cross, Green Sheild, Co-operators, Equitable Life, Desjardins, Manion, Wilkins & Assoc. Cowan Counseling, Nexgen, ODSP, Veterns Affairs and Claimsecure. Confident Smiles will complete and submit the claim on your behalf. .
Payment can be made by cash, cheque, Interac, Mastercard and Visa.
Other payment options such as a payment plan can be discussed personally with Michelle before treatment begins.
Please provide 24 hours notice for cancellation of an appointment.
